Very interesting. It is just sad that the world is still fighting over the same things. Europe for some reason, just can’t live within their borders. All seems stable for a generation or so and then some major war/conflict seems to occur. For supposedly enlightened people, they seem to be the opposite. And will the Jewish people ever be allowed to live in peace? The electronic warfare of the future could potentially bring an entire country down. A well placed electronic attack on a power grid could render a country defenseless in seconds. Drones (probably independent thinking AI) will be the wave of the future. Who knew the Battlebots show would preview to the new warfare?

Hahah great point about battlebots. I agree we go a generation and the horror of war slips from memory. We somehow have to find a way to remember

Very interesting article. War is a tic-tac-toe of offensive military technologies vs. defensive military technologies. I think the next iteration is mass-produced anti-drone defense. Time will tell whether defense will correct the imbalance and how long it will take.

Yeah I agree anti drone defense and jammers seem to be next, as traditional anti air interceptors will bankrupt nations in their current state and cost. Thanks for reading

I have heard of remote turrets that can be placed on virtually any type of vehicle. The turrets have radar that is optimized for detecting and tracking drones plus a 35 mm cannon that fires exploding shells. Since cannon shells are very inexpensive compared to to drones, this might be a versatile and cost-effective defense.

Oops, I got the specs wrong. Here is the article that I meant:

The specs that I mentioned above were for a much more expensive option:
